Regina Catholic Education Center, an exceptional pre-K to 12th grade school in Iowa City, seeks an elemenrtary teacher aide for Kindergarten or 1st grade.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Teacher aides support Kindergarten and/or 1st grade teachers with classroom activities and student learning. Teacher aides also supervise students during recess times before and during the school day.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

1. Assists teacher with lessons and activities.
2. Helps students with learning and classroom routines.
3. Supervises and engages students.
4. Maintains a positive and stimulating learning environment.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
6. Manages students in a proactive manner and maintains discipline at recess.

*Duties may include outdoor and indoor supervision.
