QualificationsRequired
Valid Iowa Teaching License with appropriate endorsement(s) for middle school English Language Arts/Reading.
Knowledge of best practices in literacy instruction and adolescent learning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective classroom management abilities.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Preferred
Previous middle school teaching experience.
Experience using educational technology and learning management systems.
Experience supporting diverse learners through differentiated instruction.
