Music Teacher Job Description

Grades: PreK - 5th Grade

Part Time:

       Applicant may choose any two days per week,

       OR mornings only(8:00am-11:30am),

       OR afternoons only (11:30am-3:00pm) 

Requirements

Iowa Teaching License

Ability to have fun creating movement with children that encompasses the Iowa PE standards. 

Curriculum

Teacher will be provided with all necessary equipment to help grow a program where students enjoy and appreciate physical movement through multiple experiences including individual work, parner exercises and small group or team work.

Our School

St. James Catholic Elementary is located in Washington, Iowa.

We have approximately 140 students PreK-5th grade.

Our student to teacher ratio is approximately 18 to 1.

We are a state accredited, faith based school with a very low number of behavioral incidences.
