Music Teacher Job Description

Grades: PreK - 5th Grade

Part Time:

       Applicant may choose any two days per week,

       OR mornings only(8:00am-11:30am),

       OR afternoons only (11:30am-3:00pm) 

Requirements

Iowa Teaching License

Ability to design and coordinate a Winter and Spring Concert

Curriculum

Teacher will be provided with all necessary materials to help grow a program where students enjoy and appreciate music through multiple experiences including singing, dancing and performing on stage.

Our School

St. James Catholic Elementary is located in Washington, Iowa.

We have approximately 140 students PreK-5th grade.

Our student to teacher ratio is approximately 17 to 1.

We are a state accredited, faith based school with a very low number of behavioral incidences.
